Interesting Trivia for Those Opposing Bob's Current Plans

Last Saturday, a small band of dedicated members of the Rudderless Steering Committee of R Neighborhoods Are 1 stood outside the Albertson's Supermarket on Western Avenue and collected signatures to be presented to the Hearing Officer at the upcoming Public Hearing.

225 cards were tallied when all was said and done.

124 cards were from concerned residents of San Pedro.

101 cards were from concerned residents of other cities in the greater L.A. area.

To be sure, the vast majority of the 101 cards not from folks who live in San Pedro came from very concerned residents of Rancho Palos Verdes.

But R.P.V. was certainly not the only other area. There are cards from residents of Harbor City, Lomita, Wilmington, Artesia, Long Beach, Los Angeles, and wherever zip code 90805 is.

Many, many more cards will be collected and either handed over to the Hearing Officer or mailed in to the address listed on the cards, prior to the hearing.

If you haven't filled out a card and wish to do so, you can find one to download at:

It just takes probably much less than one minute to sign the card, put your address on it and bringing your own to the Hearing, or mailing it to the Planning Department.

You may even be afforded the opportunity to meet and talk to a member of R Neighborhoods Are 1 who you can learn more information from and provide them with your signature and information so they can save you the postage by handing it to the Hearing Officer.

Now please be reminded that absolutely nothing has been paid to anyone from R Neigborhoods Are 1 or any other organization that opposes Bob's plans, to collect anything.

However, every single piece of paper, card stock, or anything else collected in support of Bob's plans has been touched by at least one person who was and is being paid to deal with items Bob collects.

R Neighborhoods Are 1 is an all-volunteer grass roots organization which is fighting against development plans that are being paid for.

Our Outreach Team earns only pride with their efforts.

Their Outreach Team may come to regret what they are being paid to do.
